The idea of a high-rise is often one of hard metallic and synthetic surfaces and cold environments, this can be credited to the standardized design and building methods commonly characterized throughout Asia when dealing with these types of buildings.
The design concept takes a stab and makes an attempt at drawing away from this idea.
Podium level and below are dotted with miniature roof gardens with strategic view points and on-site environmental factors in mind, such as wind direction and it’s intensity, with this effect on the designed flowing curvatures of the forms to minimize it’s impact as well as it’s visual follow-on;
Which is the larger trunk of the tower, opening up at intervals to give the living entity and it’s inhabitants room to breath through the living gardens, soak in natural sunlight and refresh through the expansive activity areas.
In stark contrast to it’s immediate environment and context, it is a welcome reprieve from a densely cold and harsh urban landscape.
