With the onset of main store in Wuxi, with access to the facade, and the homage continues with Burberry’s history, manifested through a contemporary lens to spotlight the label’s iconic cotton-gabardine trench coat. Whilst adhering to strict Design and Fit-Out standards of Burberry London, there was an opportunity to vary and add a tinge of new flavors.
‘The main store of Wuxi, a home where the spirit of art and the artisan, can be expressed with this opportunity at the facade, as well as culture and people move through intelligent and elegant modernity becomes even more prominent,’ says C.Huang.
A key component of the overall concept package, was focused on the expression of the facade, in which the tactile and earthen nature of Burberry could be expressed in an elegant manner, without being obtuse or obtrusive.
The display of Burberry’s collections, with strategically placed mil work cabinets and jewel display cases for merchandising, go from Ground floor to 1F locations.
The play upon the brand’s storied heritage continues, while remaining attractive enough to a young generation of shoppers, with its atmosphere reflecting a fine balance between traditional retail and sleek concept shop.
